Preliminary Results of IMPALA were Presented at the EAIE

The annual EAIE conference (European Association for International Education) took place in Helsinki, Finland from the 24th to the 27th of September, 2019, gathering more than 6000 professionals from 95 countries around the world. The conference was the stage for sharing the strategic points of IMPALA (Strengthening Impact for Latin American Universities) in a presentation titled “Getting inspiration from South-South cooperation to reshape education partnerships.” This inspiring project encourages developmental cooperation for three reasons: first, it focuses on the third mission statement, a priority for Latin American countries; second, the structure of the project is very clear; and third, its methodology is based on the experiential application of the steps proposed in the structure and evaluation of the results.

SPAIN PREPARES TO DEVELOP THE NEW WORKSHOP OF THE IMPALA PROJECT

During the second week of May the workshop will be published in the ESADE Business School (Integrated Center of the Ramón Llull University) “Training on impact measurement tolos and methodologies” included in WorkPlan 1 “Understanding of Impact Evaluation in Higher Education Institutions”. This workshop is aimed at representatives of the 13 Latin American universities that are part of the Erasmus + IMPALA Project.

What is IMPALA and what is the importance of the project?

During 3 years, 19 universities will work on the IMPALA project, Strengthening IMPACT of Latin American universities, Erasmus + project, all of which aim to strengthen the impact and quality in the extension of Latin American universities with methodologies developed by higher education institutions partnered in the project.
