Today, November 25th, the IMPALA workshop began with the presentation of value chains and indicators for each type of Third Mission typology, which related to the four established dimensions: social, economic, knowledge and environmental.   

Erasmus+ is a program from the European Union which is focused on education, training, youth and sports for the period of 2014-2020. Among its core values is Key Action No. 2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange for good practices.  

In La Habana, Cuba, a new workshop version of the IMPALA project is taking place: “Development of the impact and adaptation evaluation system in national context”. A coordination meeting will also be held. 

The first Erasmus + IMPALA Strengthening IMPACT in Latin American universities project took place from February 11^th to 15^th in Bogotá, Colombia, where different topics related to the IES missional frame and the Third Mission concept were worked on, after which, the Catholic University of Colombia started an appropriation process of previously learned lessons.     

Between February 11th to the 15th of 2019 the Catholic University of Colombia hosted the official Erasmus+ presentation of the IMPALA PROJECT (Strengthening the IMPACT of Latin American Universities). The project seeks to strengthen the skills and qualities of Latin-American universities through new methodologies, which have been developed, by European universities linked to the project.
